What’s your name?  Niiicceee… that’s my cousin’s name!

Well as you may know by now, my name is Mark Dancewicz.  I am a certified trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a professional stage and screen actor and the proud founder of StrengthMate Fitness.  

See, now I can tell by your face… you have a couple questions.  Ok, let’s get into it.  Yes, I am a Broadway performer and you might have seen me on your TV… BUT there are many things you haven’t seen - like the hours of training it took to build up the stamina and strength to perform 8 shows a week on a Broadway stage, or the discipline and focus it takes to perform a stunt multiple times in front of a camera.  My dream was always to be an Actor but along the way I fell in love with fitness.

Whether it is pushing myself in the gym to bulk up for a role, or designing an effective diet to look cut for a photo shoot, I find strength and confidence in exercise.

When life gets in the way, I can always count on exercise to clear my mind, reset my body and set me on a path to achieve moments of greatness.

StrengthMate Fitness is a one on one relationship that is built to introduce or reconnect you to the BADASS that you are! That’s right, baby…. you and me!!

Over the past few years I have had the honor of passing on my knowledge and watching my clients transform into strong, confident, knowledgeable individuals.

This site is the hub for my fitness programs, personalized nutrition plans, and exclusive education.  My goal is simple: To once and for all teach you the correct way to exercise for YOUR body and fitness goals.

Beginner

I am there every step of the way to GUIDE you and TEACH you the correct way to exercise. We will set achievable goals and I will mold you into the person that you want to be. Intermediate

You!! So, you are exercising, but you’re doing the same routine you’ve always done. You’re in the gym, but not getting the results you want. You have some weight lifting and HIIT knowledge, but can’t seem to push past your current position. Your diet is good, but come on…. its two for one tacos!!!!

Here’s a quiz: You are about to do a bicep curl, what’s the first muscle you engage? Think about it ……………………………………………………did you say your core? LIAR!!!! Ok, ok… if you did… I’m proud of you! You and me, baby! Nothing excites me more than taking on a new client and having the honor of watching them change before my eyes. Your one on one in-person session can take place in-studio (Manhattan), outdoors with Central Park as your backdrop, or in the comfort of your own home. Your individual session is tailored to what our goals are that day.
